Awards for Researchers in AMDO 2012

The AMDO 2012 conference will give the best paper awards to the best selected submissions. These awards seek to recognize and reward the most noteworthy papers presented in AMDO 2012. The session chairman will list the contributions of each paper and a subgroup of the IPC will finally decide the awards.
  1. AMDO Best Paper: Mykhaylo Andriluka and Leonid Sigal "Human Context: Modeling human-human interactions for monocular 3D pose estimation"
  2. Honourable Mention: Margara Tejera and Adrian Hilton "Compression techniques for 3D video mesh sequences"
  3. Most Suitable for Commercial Application: Albert Clapés, Miguel Reyes and Sergio Escalera “User Identication and Object Recognition in Clutter Scenes based on RGB-Depth Analysis”
  4. Most Suitable for Commercial Application: Thomas Jensen, Henrik Rasmussen and Thomas B. Moeslund “Automatic Estimation of Movement Statistics of People”

All awarded authors will receive a diploma. If possible, the best papers selected, will be proposed for a special issue in an international newsletter.
